As economic prosperity and more attention is paid in China, buliding campus environment of colleges and universities has increased into a new stage. College is a culture of place, its main function is to conduct scientific research and higher education, with the deepening of the concept of modern education, students are no longer limited to the classroom, but extended to the entire campus and even outside the campus, so called for Campus Planning and design functions in the core of teaching, the creation of culture, elegant, quiet character of the campus environment, the development of colleges and universities have an important practical significance.Education plays a important role in social services. As an important carrier for higher education, the environment of campus has closed relationship with the integrity environment of the city. Study of invisible campus of college and university is carried out based on this background. Invisible campus should be a very important part of the construction of urban. This study is aimed to put the college to a focus place of the city, it could be a cross or edge of the city, but its construction must be connected with city closely not separately. The planning of invisible campus is divided into three parts: radiation area of entrance district, the edge of the district, shopping district of student around campus.In this paper, invisible campus was named as "intermediary space", the significance of the intermediary space is the connection of cities and colleges, played an important role in the region not only an extension of interior space on campus, but also the surrounding colleges and universities. Intermediary space could serve as a recreation place not only for campus but also for the citizen who live around the campus. Relatively independent campus environment, inclusive city and community environment could be connected with different levels of intermediary space. Layers of intermediary space formed between campus and its surrounding environment when the outside environment of campus constantly stretches. As the connection during campus environment, urban environment and its surrounding communities, as well as a row even as the overall unity possible intermediate space, their planning should not only limited to simple connectivity, should be targeted to create as a region with elegant environment, and beautiful, high-quality, cultural and could be identified and walk up to.The concept of‘Integrated optimization of space’is put forward based on the study of integrity environment space research of invisible campus. The purpose is to integrate and coordinate the development of the campus, campus and city should be one unit to develop not as separate individual. If the advantage and contradiction of campus and city could be treated coordinately, it will play out on campus and the city the best potential to serve teachers and students, urban residents in the surrounding residents as a whole.
