Abstract


The rapid development in recent years, highway , road administration a huge amount of data , more complex data types , how to make better use of limited time and funds for road administration , and thus protect the highway security , unimpeded run is the primary task of road manager . Domestic road administration to administration , the lack of the underlying database , the lack of scientific decision-making , arbitrary . The road administration decision-making on scientific and standardized management as soon as possible . The application of modern computer management information system to manage the affairs of Highways has become a the Highway career development needs . This article through the in-depth analysis of the Shaanxi Provincial Highway system , especially highway system Highways , Highways management system developed a set of Shaanxi Province of road administration features . Traditional office automation (OA) system and geographic information system (GIS) to integrate and set up road traffic management information system , can dispersed documents , drawings , and highway-related data classification , organization , establishing a series of geographic data and attribute data unified management database for management personnel to provide fast and accurate the illustrated data query function to provide data analysis processing methods and the analysis and forecasting functions , and be able to query and analyze the results of visual display and output . Thesis GIS platform with VB Mapinfo for developers , research and development of Shaanxi Province on highway management system .
