Abstract

EDA (Electronics Design Automation, Electronic Design Automation) technology is a revolution in the field of electronic design , and is currently in a stage of rapid development , play an increasingly important role in the design of electronic products . EDA tools development is currently in its third generation , it is special emphasis on the design of communicative , reusable and support system designed for large-scale circuit . The subject of research is focused on the development of the digital circuit system , and the star on the digital control system based on the current digital system to describe the characteristics and development . Because the the satellite special requirements on the weight and volume of the star on the circuit system usually has many specific features embedded systems . The early embedded system development (including software and hardware) entirely by a design engineer to complete , due to the increasing proportion of the software throughout the development process , we began to consider the use of simulation in the EDA environment aided design engineers to complete the system design . In this paper, the software environment for Sun Solaris 2.5.1 Sun SPARC , Cadence 97A, the hardware part of the the Star Service management computer , with a the two CPU board , a fault tolerance management board and a power supply board embedded star on the fault-tolerant computer system , the CPU board to the 386EX as the core . Finally , the authors propose the improvement of the design methodology .
