Abstract

Sorbifolia (Xanthoceras sorbifolia Bunge.) Is a unique woody oil plants in north China and important biomass energy plant, one of pioneer tree species for planting hardy excellent drought in the north. Bisexual flowers and male flowers of the same strain of sorbifolia, which the male flower stamen normal development, selective abortion and pistil in male flowers of the sex determination process. For a comprehensive understanding of the characteristics of a specific period of time and abortive staminate sex determination process, the pistil selective abortion, mechanisms, on the basis of the original work, sorbifolia different developmental stages of pistil of material from cytology and organization selective chemical point of view its male flower pistil abortive process of comparative observational studies. Determine the the the abortion stage, and to investigate the mechanism of the the sorbifolia male flowers in the process of sex determination, female organs selective abortion, not only to provide for the study the pistil abortion sorbifolia molecular mechanism of the appearance of the sampling time basis, also laid a theoretical foundation on the anatomical structure of pistil abortion mechanism for further study on the level of biological macromolecules. First, the combination of external measurements and a series of paraffin, bisexual flowers for the normal development of the organization on the cellular level, the male and over the pistil on the the pistil selectivity of sorbifolia abortion comparative study to determine the male flower pistil selective abortion occurred in large meiosis Ⅰ diplotene. With the step-by-step abortion, pistil placentation site, the carpel septum and ovary bi thin-walled cells with varying degrees of vacuolization phenomenon structural damage. In addition, by staining observed the dynamic changes of starch granules and protein in normal cells during development and abortive pistil, the results found with the pistil abortion occurred, the male flower's pistil organization with starch grains and protein content decreased speculate that inadequate nutrition is one of the important reasons that affect pistil abortion, and for the study of specific abortive protein provides a theoretical basis. Second, determine the period of abortion on the basis of the use of electron microscopy techniques, and analysis the pistil abortion structural characteristics of the cells as well as the relationship with programmed cell death in the sub-cellular level. Male flower pistils of sorbifolia the ultrastructure of view, abortion Eve and abortive ovules cells the nucleolus decomposition, chromatin condensation and marginalization phenomenon is typical of programmed cell death. Vacuoles and mitochondria and other organelles, and membrane structure damage, cell decomposition the apoptosis lead ovule abortion. In addition, the cell wall of the pistil abortion beads heart abnormal thickening of plasmodesmata is not obvious, may hinder the transfer of nutrients to the megaspore mother cell transporters and regulatory information.
