As the urbanization and construction develop with high speed,while cities lack characteristic and emotion,for background, this paper researches at the content of situationed public space and the strategy. This paper, combining literature research,penetration comprehensive,case analysis, summarizing, study and resolve the problem of how to create the situation for public space, fills the lack of emotion for the urban public space, make the guidance for the space design in the future.This paper, based on previous studies on the public space, combined with the context of urban social psychology points, and with people’s vision, touch, smell, taste, hearing perception, analysis the elements of perception which affect the situational space, and present ideas for the strategies of public space situational.Any room for a situation of public space formed by a number of situational factors, which are:body shape and physical form of space; the natural environment; users (including individuals and organizations); the way of using or activity; cultural location.If you want to evaluate the quality of a space situation, or analysis that a space situation is good or bad, we can measure from the above summarized five basic elements. It should be noted that these five elements is not singly acting on the space, but the combined effects of several elements, the overall evaluation. And goals in special circumstances, some factors may account for the evaluation of a dominant position.This paper focused on these three space situational factors’affection on the perception of space the space, such as space form (in the form and scale), physical form (buildings, plants, ground), the way of using and activity. It refines each element, describes the scenarios of the elements and gives some examples. Then, from the perspective of situation, I analysis space situation from the space content, spatial sequence, emotional sequence, then propose the way for situation. Finally, the comprehensive renovation plan of Tianma mountain scenic area, for example, the analysis of its spatial situation proposed reference for public space situation.
