Abstract


Objective: To observe Mei ginseng capsules serum estrogen in ovariectomized rats , hypothalamic monoamine neurotransmitter levels and serum lipid and antioxidant indicators . : Ovariectomized rats as animal model , climacteric welcomes capsule positive control drug serum hormone , hypothalamic monoamine neurotransmitter levels change and Mei Mei capsules after 4 weeks of treatment was observed capsules medication for 12 weeks the impact of changes in body weight of rats , blood lipids , apolipoproteins and lipid peroxide content . Results: Compared with the model group , Mei ginseng capsules significantly increased in ovariectomized rat serum estradiol (E2) levels , reduce serum follicle stimulating hormone ( FSH ) , luteinizing hormone (LH) level ; reduce ovariectomized rat 5 - hydroxytryptamine (5-HT) and 5 - hydroxy indole acetic acid (5-HIAA) levels , and elevated NE and DA content . Mei capsules by weight of each dose group rats were significantly lower high , middle dose group ; Mei ginseng capsules high , middle dose group rats total cholesterol (TC), low - density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-c) levels were significantly reduced TC also reduce the low-dose group , high dose group of high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-c) increased ; Mei ginseng capsules high , middle dose rats, superoxide dismutase (SOD) activity was significantly higher C dialdehyde (MDA) content decreased . The difference was statistically significant (p lt; 0.01 or p lt ; 0.05 ) . Conclusion : Mei ginseng capsules through the role of the ovariectomized rat endocrine system and the nervous system regulation, in order to achieve a stable environment for the body to ease the symptoms of perimenopause ; Mei ginseng capsules are also effective regulation the ovariectomized rats disorder of blood lipids , suggesting it has to combat menopausal syndrome patients with atherosclerosis or coronary heart disease .
