Abstract

Subject to urban public service facilities for research object, is a species of "urban furniture". The urbanization in China, demand improve the image of the city and characteristics; Worsening ecological environment and spawned a "low carbon economy" coming of age; Ageing population and gender ratio imbalance request enhancing national physical quality; New health life concept appears with the development of the modern sports industry. In such a big background, To researching the urban public service facilities that are so closely with people’s live and work is imperative.First, it analyses urban public service facilities for domestic and foreign design present situation and the development tendency, and finds the deficiency of Chinese public service facilities. Then it researches the theory in order to make public service facilities and city sports park theme harmony and promote the urban region characteristic. It have the important meaning to perfecting the urban public service facilities theory system, develop the local culture, meet people’s aesthetic demand, upgrade the city spirit and material style.Through the research and observations about the use and maintenance status of urban sports park public service facilities, it was discovered that the design cannot meet the public psychological demand; Ignore the harmony of Sports Park’s sports leisure theme and public service facilities style. Another in design and construction, the unsuitable method produced a series of problem such as material is not environmental protection, color is not rich, it makes rough. The result affects people’s use of enthusiasm, and the efficiency of using public service facilities is greatly shrunk. Then, it studies the differences of urban sports park and other city parks, and the theme, major activities, characteristics, function and classification of public service facilities. Through the theoretical research, it works out the concept, design localization and the design goal of public service facilities’design.According to the multidisciplinary background of the public facilities (industrial design, landscape design and environmental psychology, etc.), it researches the three design key elements:namely six products elements, landscape environment factor and mental and behavioral elements, and design idea and thinking methods. And the case on Xian Yang ShangLin Sports Park attracts the attention of people on public service facilities. Also it is hoped to explore and create more and more abundant public service facilities, for people to create comfortable recreational sports venues. In-depth analysis of the characteristics and the major elements, solve the existing but can be avoided and the question that should be considered in the design process. The implementation of the above theory need for designing idea and thinking methods. This paper puts forward nine ideas and methods, including directional or reverse or bionic conventional technique, also some creative design methods: landscape elements extraction, symbol design method and dynamic design method, etc. It enriches urban public service facilities design method, and exploits the designer’s thinking field.This paper introduced the case about public service facilities design of Xian yang Shang Lin Sport Park for the realization of the above theory. It analysis geographical features, planning scheme, construction division and other factors, applies above researches, and plans a set of solutions that are suitable for the sports theme of Xian yang Shang Lin Park. Through the introduction of this case, it will attract people to public service facilities attention. Also it is hoped to explore and create more and more abundant public service facilities, for people to create comfortable recreational sports venues.
