This thesis selected the representative eastern and western regions Shaanxi province and Zhejiang province as the research focus.This paper is mainly to compare and evaluate evolution course, evolution motivity factors, development path, which belong to the different regional developmental pattern. In order to specify and quantify the model, given the construction competitiveness is the result of developmental pattern, using competitiveness index data to sum up and summarize formation and evolution of dynamic factors of developmental pattern, looking up for the reasons of assimilation and differentiation of patterns, to put forward the measures of Shaanxi pattern.Through extensive literature reading and research, main research contents had been got as follows:1. These two provincial developmental patterns have their own characteristics. The article had collect information from Zhejiang province of Shaanxi province, statistic and analyze the index which stands for the construction competitive, between two provinces patterns have great difference.2. Developmental pattern is dynamic. A time sequence analysis on the two provinces has been made, and the data present large fluctuation, which represent the great change of the same province during development course.3. The causes of formation and evolution of developmental pattern may be diversified. From the qualitative and quantitative analysis results, the possible reasons are: historical reasons for the early development, geographical environment, government policy, regional cultural characteristics, intergovernmental mutual learning and competition. All of these may lead to the pattern, formation and change of development.4. Evolution change of development pattern keep diversities and convergence on the two hands.Eight reflection pattern characteristic indexes have been selected, time sequence as the main line, using the two provinces Euclidean distance on each index to reflect the differences is shrinking or differences expanded. The results showed that between two provinces patterns, the gap on some indexes is shrinking, while the other is widening. It shows that both similarity and disparity are coexisted in the developmental pattern. The reason may be various.5. Summary successful experience of Zhejiang developmental pattern , comparing the characteristics and the insufficiency of two provinces construction, proposed the promote measures of developmental pattern of Shaanxi province , to brief the analysis the promotion prospects and promotion policy.
