Abstract

The development of modern logistics enterprise product of both economic globalization, economic globalization is an important factor in the national economy becomes more and more prominent. As a logistics system is an important aspect - the development of container transport industry is vigorous. China’s economy in transition, the economy will continue steady growth, not only international trade will continue to surge, and the total domestic trade will be because of the economic expansion, as a result of unbalanced economic development between regions and uneven allocation of resources and other factors are also rapid growth of domestic container transport in China’s economic development will play an increasingly important role. Meanwhile, the global financial crisis and economic globalization, enterprises are facing increasing competition, companies have an urgent need for innovative business model, looking for new profit growth point to maintain a competitive advantage.Based on the above analysis, the Hunan Ocean Shipping Company as an example to explore how the innovation of its own domestic container transport business model to gain a more sustainable long-term competitive advantage. This paper describes the study of Hunan Ocean Shipping Company of domestic container transport business model the background and significance, and research trends at home and abroad this topic a literature review identified a thesis research framework and methods. This article further on the basis of existing research, drawing on domestic container transport, business model, core competencies and related theory, Hunan Ocean Shipping Company container transport business model of its domestic situation and the internal and external development environment, and further use of SWOT analysis method of its advantages and disadvantages of domestic container transport, opportunities and challenges are analyzed, which made its transition to the third party logistics model innovation ideas. Finally, given the company’s domestic container transport converted to a third party logistics company objectives, principles and methods, and analysis needs of Hunan Ocean Shipping Company organization and management model, human resources, information systems, business models, customer management, improvements in areas such as brand, in order to protect its conversion to a third party logistics mode, thus enhancing their Hunan Ocean Shipping Company’s core competitiveness.
