Coumarins,with biological activities and pharmacological effects,are important in agriculture,industry and pharmaceutics.The formation of three derivatives of 8-allyl-7-hydroxycoumarin with the structure of diaryl ethers,which were 8-allyl-7-(2,6-dinitro-4-trifluoromethylphenoxy)coumarin, 8-allyl-7-(2-nitro-4-trifluoromethylphenoxy)coumarin,8-allyl-7-(4-trifluoromethylphenoxy)co umarin,were studied.The optimal condition through experiments in proportion of reaction materials,temperature,time,quantity of base and catalyst,species of base,catalyst and solvents were observed.The yields of them were 82%(HPLC),89%(HPLC) and 21.2%(GC). All the productions,which were new compounds,were separated and characterized by ~1H NMR.The formation of 7-hydroxy-8-isopentenylcoumarin,which is the precursor of osthol, from 7-hydroxycoumarin through 7-isopentenoxycoumarin were explored.It was separated and characterized by ~1H NMR.It is a new idea for the formation of derivatives of coumarin with the structure of diaryl ethers in the research of intermediates and pharmaceutics with biological activity.This will be valuable in development and application.
