Abstract

This article describes the status of remote weapon stations at home and abroad , the development trends and the practical significance of the the research machine gun towers . A simple automatic control of the machinery of the overall program , including the design of specific parts of the level of machine direction of the machine and gear reducer is designed according to the characteristics of 12.7mm heavy machine guns , and reasonably optimized machine gun tower structure . Analysis the interior ballistics period , after the period of limitation , and the gas chamber gas pressure variation , the application of classical interior ballistics , automatic weapons, gas dynamics , automatic weapons dynamics theory of knowledge , on the basis of mathematical modeling , the use of 12.7mm heavy machine gun dynamics simulation and optimization calculation software , friendly man-machine interactive interface analysis machine guns in firing by the forces , the results in the form of numerical or curve output . Dynamic simulation software ADAMS virtual prototype model of 12.7mm machine gun use mechanical systems , and come to the law of motion of the machine frame , barrel and other parts , draw and analyze the calculation results , given the machine gun firing recoilless gun tower the impact of software Nastran finite element the gun tower modal analysis and stress , deformation analysis for the the gun tower 's structure , the material provides the design basis , and gun towers provide a useful reference for further improvement .
