Abstract


Overlap is now widely used languages, especially among the Chinese. In Mandarin Chinese, Adjective been widely accepted and applied in everyday life. This article from the perspective of cognitive linguistics, the use of inductive and abductive reasoning of this phenomenon made tentative research aimed to find out the meaning of the adjective overlap caused by changes in the transfer function of the generation and interpretation mechanisms. This article includes six chapters: The first chapter is to introduce the entire article, including the preamble, the purpose of this writing, research methods and the overall structure of the paper. The second chapter is the literature review section. In this chapter, the authors summarize the previous scholars Adjective Institute on issues related to the results obtained. Results of these studies can be divided into form, meaning and function of three aspects. Conclusions from these studies, the authors identified in previous studies linguists ignored or three unresolved issues, followed by the formation of the main research question. Chapter III provides the academic background to do the study.
