Abstract


In this paper, on the basis of determining the scope of the study , from the form of overlapping conditions , the semantics and syntax of the four angles of reduplicative adjectives discussed research . First of all, from the word duplication and overlap angle configuration , determine the scope of this study to the nature of the configuration reduplicative adjectives . Overlap configuration is different from the word formation overlapping configuration the overlap must meet two conditions : First , have a base type ; the base formula must overlap . Secondly, although the reduplicative adjectives must have a base type , but not all adjectives can overlap. Adjectives overlap with certain restrictions . From the perspective of the base Adjective semantics , nature , structure and voice adjective overlapping constraints . The overlapping configuration often complex and subtle semantics , syntax function will also change . This paper focuses on the adjective overlap grammatical meaning , the reduplicative adjectives syntax meaning mainly include the following three aspects : a quantitative sense , state descriptive sense , as well as dynamic significance . The end of this article discusses the grammatical function of adjectives overlap . Overlapping base type showed a greater difference in the grammatical function . By comparing the base type , we analyze the extended reduplicative adjectives combination of functional limitations and syntactic features .
