Abstract


From the mid-14th century to the early 20th century, Chaghatay Uyghur language commonly used by the Uyghur , Uzbek and other Turkic peoples who lived in the Xinjiang region and Central Asia. Because of this language began to be used from the Chagatay Khanate period, internationally, it is also called "Chaghatay language." The language had played very important role in the Xinjiang and Central Asia on national culture developping. Numerous works about religion, history and other circles handed down from generation to nowaday were written by this language. It provided a lot of messages for studying of history and culture during that time.As an extension of ancient and modern language, Chaghatay Uyghur language, we can ensure that it played a key role in the link between past and future in the process of development of Uyghur language. Some scholars believed that modern Uyghur language and language factors, included using all the vocabulary, which selected by the times. Therefore, further studying on Chaghatay Uyghur language playd an essential role on the studying of the formation of modern Uyghur language. The background of Chaghatay Uyghur language and its influence had very important role in studying of modern Uyghur. Now, the modern Uyghur language evolved at the basis of Chaghatay Uyghur language. In this long historical process, the language must have a greater change and development.It is well-known that the Uyghur language marked by a wealth of morphological changes. Modern Uyghur formation of patterns is a process of historical development. In the process of studying Chaghatay Uyghur language, I deeply aware that, the studying of Chaghatay Uyghur morphological grammar is very important and significant in studying the modern Uyghur language.This dissertation sets the distinguish historical works The autobiography of the Khojas (Tezkire-i Ezizan), the manuscript material in Chaghatay Uyghur language. Muhammad Sadiq Kashgariy, the famous of Uyghur historian, wrote the book around 1769-1771. This dissertation focusing on the literature described in this emerging category of noun phrase morphology in order to show the morphological characteristics of Chaghatay Uyghur language in the 18th century.The autobiography of the Khojas, the essential famous works was about Islam aristocrats and the Khojas’ family history in Xinjiang between 16-18th century. At the end of 19th century, since the manuscript was found, some scholars did much research on historical and cultural difference point both inland and abroad. However, scholars did not carry out research in language and literature. Therefore, this dissertation focused on the characteristic of noun phrase morphology which analysis and research preliminary.
