The new media have recently received wide attention from academia and the practitioners . Widely read and analyze the existing definitions on the basis of the new media are given their own definition . Because of the powerful effect of new media in the dissemination process , the public relations sector has been the introduction of the operation of the Public Relations . Theoretical basis , as well as a combination of the way , however , is still a lack of inquiry . In this paper, the definition of public relations and new media , a theoretical model of the new media and public relations , and to fill gaps in the study . In addition, the understanding of new media technologies , as well as public relations master object relations in the context of new media inevitability of change and trends from the perspective of historical materialism , can help scholars and practitioners to see the future development trends , and therefore take a more proactive attitude to embrace change , embrace the challenge . The transformation of public relations , the first performance for the transformation of the productivity of public relations , media change ; followed by the performance of the public relations relations of production change , that the change of the host-guest relations public relations . In this paper, based on the summary of media change , proposed three changes in factors of the new media . The host-guest relations public relations corresponding changes in the impetus of these factors of change , including the main object of the changing role of subject and object authority pattern changes . I believe that the main object relations , public relations , in the context of new media development will eventually be moving in the direction of equality and mutual benefit . Therefore, the future the main object relations model of public relations will gradually move closer to the two-way peer-to-peer mode .
