With the development of military construction , military network type of business is increasing more and more rich web - based applications . The the military network structure and the increasing complexity of large -scale new network technologies emerging , making increasingly heavy network load , and how to optimize the design and planning of the existing network is a very challenging issue . This paper a new era under the the military network performance analysis and evaluation of an actual military LAN abstract compression , processing Qucuqujing most features extracted topology map to OPNET simulation platform . First OPNET network simulation software the military network modeling and simulation , respectively, to create a network model , node model and process model , the corresponding application configuration , combined with network performance analysis and evaluation based on simulation results , compare the link to download utilization and server response time . According to the actual need to select the best network design , and then based on the results of the simulation , the simulation results proved the effectiveness of the program . Using a variety of modeling techniques in the simulation process simulation and analysis of its performance parameters , simulation optimization hybrid modeling method , so that the simulation can not only maintain a certain precision , whilst maintaining a high speed . Through the analysis of the performance parameters of the LAN , to identify the problems of the network , which provides technical reference for network design and optimization . The final summary of the work done , the next step is to improve the work laid the foundation for OPNET software applications in military communication network simulation .
