This article reveals the Germplasm Resources Genetic Diversity and Variation , provide excellent breeding Houttuynia basis for the main target, Jiangxi, Guizhou , Fujian, Yunnan , Zhejiang, Henan , Hunan, Guangxi , Chongqing, Sichuan Anhui 11 provinces 23 kinds of sources Houttuynia provenance field trials conducted by the main agronomic traits , morphological markers , RAPD molecular markers and major secondary metabolites , achieved the following results : 1. different provenances Houttuynia leaves, flowers , fruits, stems significant variation , in which leaf morphology , plant flowers and the maximum number of variants , followed by plant height , according to the main morphological characteristics, 23 kinds of sources can be divided into two types. Type 1 Houttuynia early growth leaf green , internodes between long blooming emerald green leaves , leaf margin wavy , reddish stems , higher plants , plant flowers and a few more ( usually greater than 2 ) , infructescence long stalk shorter ; type 2 Houttuynia initial growth with purple leaves , internodes between short blooming dark green leaves , leaves subentire , stems purple, light red or green plants shorter , plant flowers and fewer ( usually less than 2 ) , infructescence short stalk longer . RAPD markers , the main secondary metabolites such findings support two types of division . 2 different provenances Houttuynia main secondary metabolites ( volatile oils and flavonoids ) there are significant differences , and there can be distinguished provenance or the types of non- common components . Morphological characteristics of volatile oils and flavonoids than the close relationship , and showed warp or weft geographic variation . Houttuynia germplasm major differences in secondary metabolites play a decisive role . 3 Consolidated total volatile oils , flavonoids total undecanone volume and yield factors Yuxingcao cultivated in Zhejiang Changxing, Zhejiang , Zhejiang Shengzhou , Zhejiang Jiashan provenance Houttuynia is superior.
