Abstract


Gentleman,as the represent of perfect personality,has been followed by many people for thousands of years. it was widely soaked in people’s thinking, opinion,behavior manner and emotion state. The article is based on the document of pre-qin period, connect Confucius and his students’words and deeds, explaining gentleman ideal in many aspects. By taking apart gentleman’s construction and basic spirit ,point out the active agency and deep affection that gentleman ideal borrowed in Chinese history and culture. And introduce such an opinion that gentleman ideal can develop itself only by value conversion and personality. Then, gentleman idea will effect unbonded spirit energy to the building of national character and personal honor.
