Abstract


As time going on, Chinese meticulous figure drawing is also making its transition, which has been an inevitable situation. The modern Chinese meticulous figure drawing is not restricted by traditional style, there are huge development on drawing’s theme and form. The circumstances of Chinese meticulous figure drawing are flourishing, but there’s a phenomenon that streaks are used less in modern meticulous figure drawing, the aesthetic impression brought by streaks is also weakened. This text tries to analyze the origin of this phenomenon on the base of traditional meticulous figure drawing studies, reiterates the importance of streaks in Chinese meticulous figure drawing, and respects this distinct art language in the future meticulous figure drawing creations.
