Abstract


Objective To analyze the impact of the relevant factors for the surgical treatment of children and maxillofacial vascular malformations efficacy , in order to improve the understanding of the clinical , surgical treatment , and to improve the cure rate of children maxillofacial vascular malformations , and reduce the relapse rate . The children collected 117 cases of surgical treatment of oral and maxillofacial vascular malformations in patients with clinical data and follow-up of 6 months to 3 years . In all cases determine the efficacy of a uniform standard . Retrospective analysis may affect the efficacy of factors such as age , gender , ethnicity , duration of disease, tumor size , envelope is complete and lesion type seven factors , first by univariate analysis , the results were statistically significant factors into the analysis model multifactorial logistics regression analysis to explore the relationship of various factors in patients with maxillofacial vascular malformation surgical treatment . Results: During follow-up , cancer cure rate was 67.5% ( 79 / 117 ) , single factors affect children maxillofacial vascular malformation surgery efficacy analysis showed : tumor size , tumor capsule is complete with surgical treatment (P lt; 0.05). Multivariate analysis results showed that : a tumor the size of a p - value gt ; , Exp ( β ) gt ; shows that the factors for the risk factors , can reduce the cure rate ; envelope is complete and p-value lt ; 0.0 lt ; Exp (p) lt; 1, protective factors , the factors that play a positive role on the prognosis , encapsulated after vascular malformations cure rate than incomplete . The comparison of the absolute value of the standardized regression coefficients (β) , tumor capsule is complete and the role of surgical treatment , followed by tumor size and extent of surgical resection . Other factors such as age, sex, ethnicity , duration of lesion type and other factors no significant correlation with prognosis . Conclusion : tumor size envelope integrity is the main factor affecting the efficacy of surgery , preoperative accurate and comprehensive assessment of tumor capsule is complete , correct understanding of the indications for surgery , can improve vascular malformations cure rate .
