Abstract


Belief is indispensable spiritual support for a people, a nation or a country. College Students are the future of the motherland, and its beliefs not only affect the individual’s growth and attitude towards life, but also are related to the future and destiny of the country and the development and stability of the whole society. Marxist belief in education is the timeless subject of the ideological and political education in colleges, and we must make long unremitting efforts.Beliefs are different from ideals or faiths; they also have differences and contacts. In order to study, this paper mostly uses the "belief". As a faith, Marxist belief has rich connotations. It is not only an attitude of Marxist believers, but also the Marxism in believers’ hearts. At the same time, it means the system of Marxist theory has itself value. One of the most fundamental is the Marxist theory itself. Marxist belief is a scientific belief. It has essentially differences with other religious or secular faiths. In China, Marxist belief in education in ideological and political education is the essential requirement of socialist colleges and universities, the core content of Ideological and Political Education, the fundamental measure to achieve the purpose of ideological and political education, the essential pledge to resist and oppose all kinds of non-scientific belief, also is the students’inherent need to self-development. Since the Third Plenary Session, the party and the country have attached great importance to ideological and political work and Marxist belief in education of college students, they also cultivate a number of approved firm belief talents. But there also have many questions. Some teachers’thought level of teaching is not high; Someone should not understand the Marxist belief in the value of education; Someone should not clear the Marxist belief in the scientific connotation of Education; Someone even treat the beliefs of Education with non-Marxist attitude. The main reasons there are the followings: The first reason is the impact of multicultural values under the socialist market economy; the second is the missing of the faith education in ideological and political education; the third is the impact of the Non-Marxist opinion in the mass media; the fourth is the impact of teachers’ Marxist theory quality. In view of this, we must strengthen faith education in the ideological and political education at colleges and universities. First, establish a Marxist belief in education in the core status in the Ideological and Political Education; Second, grasp the time characteristics of the Marxist belief in college education; Third, exert the main channel of the ideological and political theory courses; Fourth, focus on targeted and the level of the Marxist belief in college education; Fifth, create a good cultural atmosphere for the Marxist belief in college education; Sixth, improve the level of Marxist theory of ideological and political theory course teachers.
