Abstract

Higher Education has been able to occupy an important place in people's lives today, primarily because of its personnel training, scientific research, and service to the community as well as social progress and evolve various functions, and to develop a country or region, must give priority to the development of education, especially higher education outputs senior personnel. Therefore, the development of higher education is a major event in relations between the countries and regions rise and fall. Sichuan Province in western China, a large population, the economy is lagging behind the development of higher education is difficult, in the background of the current popularization of higher education under the need to face new opportunities and challenges, the purpose of this article, is by analyzing and research problems in the development of higher education in Sichuan, the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions, thereby contributing to the achievement of sustainable development of the Sichuan Higher Education. This article is from a philosophical point of view, first expounded sustainable development and higher education, pointed out that while higher education to promote the sustainable development of society itself, the need to achieve sustainable development, the cause of higher education would be unsustainable human society sustainable development will be out of the question; followed by the concept of sustainable development is applied to the higher education, the Sichuan Higher Education to achieve sustainable development need to meet the requirements of the people-oriented and must follow the holistic, coordinated, fairness, sustained the principle; then with more space to be divided based on the process cycle of the Sichuan Higher Education, run and talents output three parts, three chapters on specific content analysis and description, pointed out that in the various stages of the Sichuan Higher Education in the presence of the problem, analyze problems and propose solutions or recommendations; Finally, the scientific concept of development and the Communist Party Congress report to make a summary. Sichuan Higher Education in the development of the major difficulties encountered are: (1) in terms of the basis of higher education, economic backwardness, for a long time there is the problem of inadequate funding for education, the faculty has been the lack small number of colleges and universities blind upgrade upgrading grandiose Figure full lack of features, caused the lack of coordination of the school structure. (3) in higher education personnel output year after enrollment resulting college graduates increased rapidly, Sichuan backward socio-economic can only provide limited positions, coupled with the recent global recession and serious college graduates the unreasonable employment problem, in addition, the University Professional and Curriculum weakened student employability and competitiveness, exacerbate structural unemployment phenomenon. These problems have hindered the sustainable development of Sichuan Higher Education, the impact on the overall development of Sichuan, must solve as soon as possible. To solve these problems, this paper, after a careful analysis of proposed solutions or suggestions, hoping to promote the healthy development of the Sichuan Higher Education. (1) for the fundamental aspects of the problem, it is recommended that the government has increased investment in education and guide social capital flows, and at the same time hope that universities can better channels to gather funds and efficient use of funds raised to develop and strengthen an outstanding faculty, promote the overall upgrading of the level of teachers in Sichuan, pointed out that colleges and universities in the schools or extend the time to pay attention to the positioning and characteristics more.
