Abstract


The children left behind is accompanied by industrialization, urbanization and large-scale movement of labor arising, it is a product of the society during the transition period, the \period a variety of contradictions and conflicts, integrated rural minors education. Many negative effects due to the impact of the social environment, lack of parent-child relationship and the absence of family education, to life, mental health and behavior of the majority of left-behind children's learning habits. Poor academic performance is only one aspect of rural left-behind children's education highlights the problem is even more worrying is that the overall quality of the child, moral education and personality cultivation and other issues. These problems should cause us concern. In this paper, a combination of qualitative and quantitative research methods, measurement and differences in comparison with non-left-behind children, different gender children left behind, and the left-behind children of different grades between the mental health of children left behind in rural areas and in the town on the Chengdu Shuangliu from the point of view of psychology and sociology to exist in the left-behind children between a variety of different types of mental health problems causes the targeted analysis and made a number of coping strategies, also called on the relevant government departments institutional reform, a fundamental solution to the problem of children left behind. I found through research: (a) the level of mental health of children left behind in rural areas in general in the normal range, but there is a different situation in the mental health dimension propensity to anxiety. (B) on the total score of mental health, the girl left behind with non-left-behind girl does not exist significant differences (P gt; 0.05); (c) the boy left behind and non-left-behind boy on the mental health score difference did not reach a significant level (P gt; 0.05), but the each Latitude overall score on the boy left behind score significantly higher than non-left-behind boy; (d) left-behind children in different grades eight dimensions of the Mental Health Test (MHT), only in learning anxiety dimension the differences reached the level of significant difference (P lt; 0.01), allergic tendencies latitude to reach significant difference level (P lt; 0.05), and the other six dimensions of the differences were not significant (P GT; 0.01). (5) different types of care children left behind in the score there was a significant difference (p lt; 0.001). Impulsivity, loneliness orientation, the three dimensions of anxiety, three different types of care children left behind there was a significant difference ( P lt; 0.01). (6) MHT out of working parents at different times the average score of the left-behind children reach the level of significant difference (P <0.05). In the left-behind children of different anxiety Latitude working parents time to reach the level of significant difference (P lt; 0.05), the other seven dimensions were no significant differences (P GT; 0.05)
