Abstract


Objective: adenoidal hypertrophy is one of the common diseases of childhood Otolaryngology , recently found its incidence may be related to food intolerance , the correlation between the topics on adenoid hypertrophy and food intolerance research provide a theoretical basis for the prevention and treatment of adenoid hypertrophy . Methods: A total of 111 cases of adenoidal hypertrophy in patients of our hospital from May 2008 to February 2011 as the case group , no history of allergies and allergy - related diseases and adenoidal hypertrophy symptoms children 30 were used as the control group , and compare the differences of food intolerance results . Results: 111 cases of adenoidal hypertrophy patients and 30 patients in the control group were food intolerance testing positive rate was 82.9% and 43.3 % , respectively , the difference was statistically significant . The degree of adenoidal hypertrophy group and the control group of children with food intolerance , the difference was statistically significant . Adenoidal hypertrophy group and the control group , moderate food allergen detection rate of 70.3% and 30.0% , respectively , and the difference was statistically significant . Food intolerance screening of high- , moderate sensitive patients to food allergens types of analysis , found that patients with adenoidal hypertrophy and control groups , respectively, 82.6% and 61.5% for two and two or more food intolerances The difference was not statistically significant. The daily consumption of 14 kinds of food , adenoidal hypertrophy in patients with food -specific Ⅰ gG elevated the top three for the egg eggs ( 71.2% ) , milk ( 67.6% ) and cod (13.5 %) of the control group for milk (23.3 %) eggs (20.0%) and cod (16.7 %) . Conclusion : adenoidal hypertrophy with food intolerance , in particular , there is a clear correlation between moderately sensitive intolerant food . And the relationship between the adenoidal hypertrophy with a variety of food intolerance also need to be further investigated .
