Abstract

The 3G system is constantly evolving. After the 3G business, has introduced HSDPA and HSUPA two enhanced technologies, collectively referred to as HSPA. HSPA has been successful in some countries, commercially available. In order to smooth the fourth-generation mobile communication system, UMTS major standardization bodies 3GPP launched a Study Item on "HSPA Evolution" for UTRA FDD. In the standard-setting process, system performance study need to create communication system dynamic simulation platform. The purpose of this paper is to improve the dynamic system simulation platform for HSPA, use the improved platform performance analysis and program evaluation for HSPA + in MIMO.First, two key technologies of TD-SCDMA, namely smart antenna and joint detection; MIMO technology in HSPA system two programs, namely PARC and D-TxAA are introduced.Second, spatial channel modeling method of HSPA+ system simulation model are analysed. Modeling of the corresponding interface has been achieved according to TD-SCDMA data transfer model, as well as modeling of a variety of MIMO proposal and smart antennas algorithm has been achieved. The new functional platform are designed and space channel model parameters interface mapping are calibration according to referenceFinally, the evaluation of simulation parameters and simulation assumptions are introduced, and given MIMO system performance under the conditions of a variety of circumstances and assumptions, existing 8-element sector smart antenna import MIMO method has been simulated, the impact of import of 64QAM also are analysised. Simulation of the conclusion is that the performance of PARC and D-TxAA are approximate when auto-adapted mechanism was imported. 8 antenna’s results had the very big promotion compared to the 2 antenna performance in the case of use the same modulation.
