Objective: evaluation of children with acute leukemia families of family function and quality of life situation, to explore the information and emotional support to its effect. Methods: The study was a randomized controlled experimental study. Select Xiangya Hospital of Central South University, Hunan Province, the families of the Second Xiangya Hospital, Third Xiangya Hospital and Children's Hospital of Hunan Province, 87 cases hospitalized for chemotherapy of acute leukemia in children (diagnosed within six months) for subjects into groups according to random number table, were randomly assigned to the experimental group (42 cases) and control group (45 cases). Experimental group received conventional treatment and care based on accepted and then once a week for 30-60 minutes each time, a total of 16 weeks of information and emotional support; control group only received conventional treatment and care, not given intervention measures. Before the intervention, after the family function and quality of life of the two groups of subjects were evaluated to analyze the effect of information and emotional support. Results: (1) 87 objects total family function score (2.24 ± 0.45), lower than that of the healthy children families (P lt; 0.01); overall quality of life score (44.32 ± 7.17), lower than the national norm (P lt; 0.01), multivariate regression analysis showed that the confirmed time and monthly family income, quality of life factors. (2) The correlation analysis showed that the overall quality of life score with various dimensions of family functioning was negatively related (P lt; 0.01), physiological field with the rest of the roles, behavior control dimension was negatively related (P lt; 0.05) , psychological and emotional intervention remaining dimension showed a negative correlation (P lt; 0.05), the field of social relations and family functioning, the remaining dimension than problem solving was negatively correlated (P lt; 0.05), the field of the environment and in addition to problem solving, behavior control, and the remainder of the total function dimension was negatively correlated (P lt; 0.05). (3) using a paired t-test of the two groups before the intervention, after the family function score comparison, results show that: (1) control group each dimension score although decreased, but in addition to communication, the remaining differences were not statistically significant (P gt; 0.05), ② reduce intervention group dimension scores, in addition to emotional response, the rest of the scores of the differences were statistically significant (P lt; 0.01); using two independent samples t-test and non-parametric statistical Mann-WhitneyU testing two groups family functioning score difference before and after the intervention and post-intervention scores were compared, the results showed that: In addition to the emotional response, the remaining dimension score difference was statistically significant (P lt; 0.05); using a repeated measures analysis of variance showed: problem solving, communication, division of family roles, behavior control, total functional score intervention main effect was statistically significant (P lt; 0.05), problem-solving, communication, household division of labor, emotional involvement, behavior control score main effect of time was statistically significance (P lt; 0.05), and there was an interaction with the intervention factor (P lt; 0.05). (4) using a paired t-test score on the quality of life of the two groups before the intervention, after comparing the results showed: (1) control group in all areas score differences were not statistically significance (P gt; 0.05), ② the intervention group each domain scores have improved psychological field of social relations field, the survival quality score and quality of life subjective feelings score differences were statistically significant (P lt; 0.01), the physiological field, the field of the environment and about their health status, subjective feelings score differences No statistically significant; using two independent samples t-test and non-parametric statistical Mann-Whitney U test score difference before and after the intervention and post-intervention scores were compared, results showed: the intervention group psychological field of social relations in various fields of the two sets of quality of life field, the quality of life score, quality of life scores were higher, the differences were statistically significant (P lt; 0.01) subjective feelings; repeated measure analysis of variance showed: the psychological field, the field of social relations, quality of life score subjective feelings of quality of life score in the intervention main effect and the main effect of time differences were statistically significant (P lt; 0.05), and the interaction between the two (P lt; 0.05). Conclusion: 1. Acute leukemia children's families of family function and quality of life were dropped; information and emotional support to improve overall family functioning situation for the families of children with acute leukemia, problem-solving, communication, family division of roles, behavior control ability a significant improvement in the obvious effect of emotional involvement and emotional reactions; information and emotional support to effectively improve the quality of life of the families of children with acute leukemia, improved significantly with the psychological field, the field of social relations, the role of physiological field and the field of the environment obvious.
