Objective: postoperative analysis of newly diagnosed cases collected from the Affiliated Hospital of Shandong Medical University and Hospital of Rizhao City , 86 cases of gastric cancer , to explore a variety of factors that affect gastric cancer survival as well as the role of Chinese medicine in the treatment of gastric and identify problems , and provide a reference for clinical reasonable individualized treatment programs . Methods : The clinical data and follow-up data from patients select number of observed indicators study various observational indicators assignment to quantify all of the data entered into the computer , using SPSS16.0 statistical software for data analysis . First draw the time to disease progression (TTP) and survival time (OS) curves using the Kaplan-Meier method ( product-limit method) , then the application of clinical parameters of the Log-Rank test ( log-rank test ) univariate analysis , analysis of various factors on the survival impact to identify the role of Chinese medicine in the treatment of gastric Finally, the application of the Cox proportional hazards model for multivariate regression analysis to identify independent prognostic factors . Results: The analysis showed that the patient's age , preoperative anemia , preoperative platelet levels , maximum tumor diameter , depth of invasion , lymph node metastasis , TNM stage , treatment modalities , taking Chinese medicine decoction time and postoperative CEA levels on survival significant impact . , Age , preoperative anemia, preoperative platelet levels , depth of invasion, lymph node involvement , treatment the taking medicine decoction time and postoperative CEA level independent factor affecting the prognosis of gastric cancer . Integrative Medicine , taking Chinese medicine decoction time greater than 18 months, a higher long-term survival of patients with gastric cancer , benefit more . Conclusion: Integrative Medicine than a simple Western medicine treatment to obtain a longer survival time and improve long-term survival . Integrative treatment of gastric cancer is the general trend of the future clinical development .
