Abstract


Objective: To carry out behavioral interventions among drug users is particularly important . MMT clinics as a platform to explore the establishment of a standardized MMT clinic strengthening intervention model to help drug addicts return to a healthy lifestyle , effective management of MMT personnel infected with AIDS patients and reduce risky behavior , further curb the rapid growth of AIDS in Xinjiang . Methods: The Institute of interventions method : In the current routine prevention work , based on the conventional control work = 1 ) methadone daily volume 2 ) random urinalysis 3) HIV testing 4 ) reduction incentives ; implemented to strengthen interventions to strengthen intervention = 1 ) an average of therapeutic dose 15mg 2) of morphine in urine testing three monthly strengthening ) family members to participate 4 ) intensive counseling and support 5 ) strengthening inform sexual partners and HIV testing 6 ) strengthen spousal counseling and condom promotion results : by strengthening in the pre- intervention group after the intervention to improve HIV awareness nearly 10% in the intervention group taking staff to maintain the baseline rate rose to 91.49 percent at the end of the 92.91% ; steal absorption and rate of decline of needles , condom use improvement on both a statistically significance , the intervention group sex partners informed rate increased by nearly 10% , urine positive rate dropped to 5.52% 9.68% in the intervention group after the intervention rate of new infections dropped to 5.95 from the 6.06% %, down 0.11 percentage points. Many parties rather than varying degrees of improvement , but in sexual behavior intervention group showed a downward trend , family support, no significant change , HIV new infections declined slightly. Conclusion: The enhanced intervention model to achieve a better intervention , in the future work of methadone maintenance treatment clinics which , it is worth learning and promotion
