Objective To Tan admitted to some hospital patients with burns in children aged 0-14 cause burns, injury time, and family and social environment, conduct research, describe the epidemiological characteristics of burn injuries to children and children burn injury risk factors preliminary analysis. Methods Changsha, three randomly selected hospitals one, two hospitals 1, Zhuzhou City, three hospitals one, two hospitals 1, Xiangtan City hospitals of one, two level hospitals an investigation. Admitted their children aged 0-14 and their parents hospitalized burn survey questionnaire covers the general condition of the family, children's physiological condition, burns, burns to children and parental knowledge to grasp the situation, of which the severity of burn injuries to children determination using the 1970 National Burn conferencing standards. Using SPSS 13.0 of the collected data for statistical analysis, statistical analysis methods include descriptive statistics, chi-square test and multivariate Logistic regression analysis. Results 66 cases of burns in children, boys 30 cases, 36 cases of girls, children of all ages were three constituent ratio burns 3 years old (62.1%), 4-6 years (24.2%) and 7-14 years (13.6% ). With age, the girl in the proportion of children with burns gradually decreased. The most common causes of injury hydrothermal burns (56.1%), followed by flame burns (30.3%), other causes of burns accounted for 13.6%. With age, the flame burns increase gradually in 7-14 years age composition as the main injury factors. Most prone to burn in the interior (83.3%), living room is the most important place burns occur accounted (47.3%). 75.8% of children with burns occur during the day. Burn severity proportions were moderate (56.1%), and severe (22.7%), mild (13.6%), especially heavy (7.6%). Multivariate Logistic regression analysis showed that: household situation, caregivers, occupation, per capita housing area, children's physique into the regression equation, which household in the city, caregivers occupation for workers, per capita housing area is a protective factor for children's burns. Conclusion Infancy (0-3) for children aged like burns prone ages; hydrothermal / burns caused by hot steam is the most common type of burn injuries to children; interior seems most likely to burn for children took place; flame degree burns caused by children than the hydrothermal / geothermal steam caused by severe; household situation, caregivers, occupation, per capita housing area, child physical factors of burns in children. For the above, to take effective preventive measures while applying various publicity channels to raise awareness of risk factors for burn awareness further popularize burn prevention knowledge, thus improve the whole society to prevent children burn levels.
