Objective:To study the diagnosis and treatment of patients with azoospermia and its clinical effect. Methods:A retrospective analysis of March 2009 to December 2010 in xinjiang medical university first affiliated hospital reproductive help pregnant center medical 89 cases of azoospermia in patients with clinical data. Result:Testicular volume in diagnosis of obstructive azoospermia and no obstructive azoospermia statistically significant (P< 0.05), serum reproductive hormone in diagnosis of obstructive azoospermia and no obstructive azoospermia statistically significant (P< 0.01), Using both serum follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) and testicular volume can improve the diagnostic accuracy of azoospermia types. Totle 89 cases of azoospermia include 51 obstructive azoospermia cases (51/89,57.3%),and 38 cases of non obstructive azoospermia disease (38/89,42.7%).39 obstructive cases underwent percutaneous epididymal sperm aspiration/testicular sperm aspiration (PESA/TESA) acquire sperm, then do intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI),through 52 cycle clinical pregnancy rates 26.9% (14/52).The etiology of azoospermia disease is very complexity, serum reproductive hormone, testicular volume, chromosome number and shape inspection and percutaneous epididymal sperm aspiration/testicular sperm aspiration (PESA/TESA) can comprehensive judgment the biopsy cytology and the etiology of type with azoospermia. Conclusion:Assisted reproductive technology (ART) is most effective way to treatment obstructive azoospermia in present, make many obstructive azoospermia patients got their own biological offspring.
