Abstract


A wide range of computer softwares are applied to all spheres of society because of the rapid development of information technology. Our society increasingly depends on the information in a deeper and deeper level, the quality of software naturally become the common focus, people will pay more attention to the quality of the software, such as security, stability, reliability, convenience, functional agility and high-performance, etc.Software Testing is an important way to verify the quality of the software in software engineering. A software project usually has such features as large investment and a long life cycle, advanced science and technology and complexity, a project of the Software Testing has these features too. The Software Testing still need using special equipment and requesting the higher quality of tester. As third-party testing agencies meet the above conditions, and they can provide an objective and impartial test results, therefore, with the constant refinement of social division of labor in software engineering ,the third-party testing is the effective way to raise the level of testing, quality assurance and give full play to test Effectiveness.As the third-party agency testing services is a fresh things, the prerequisite for a testing service market develops to the direction of standardized and healthy is whether the third-party agency is eligible and independent, whether he can fairly and justly evaluate the quality of a software. This paper is focused on the third-party agency testing process management, to help the demand side make the correct choice to independent testing agencies, judge whether an third-party agency works on the standardized way, identify whether test results are correct. So the demand side can make right decision according to the test conclusion, improve the effectiveness of software investment project, effectively evade the risk of software projects failure.Considering the diversity of software types, the rich connotation of software quality, the diversity of test methods, the author will only study the applications, and focus on the related testing process management. Reference to the international standards and national standards, according to the Chinese third-party agency testing actuality and future direction of the development, the author puts forward a constructive third-party agency testing process management of application software.In the absence of more ready-made experience for reference, the author enact a rule of the third-party agency testing project management . If you can catch these key nodes about "What ,Who ,How, When and How much" in the testing process ,you can do it well.First ,we should know what we are going to do .As requirement is the root of a software development, testing requirement is the base of a software testing project. So, we need help the testing company to make something clear, like the background, the targets what the user aim at in function or performance. it is important.Then, who can do it? We must purchase the software testing service according to the testing requirement and the qualification.The third, how does the third-party agency do? We should help and supervise the testing company does its work in right way to get impersonality and fair result.In order to make the tests carried out efficiently, with the exception of test design, the owners should also be inspected to third-party agency testing companies the choice of test tools and the proficiency of using testing tools to reduce the "man-days" and cost.On third-party agency testing project, the Owners should also concern the progress ,whether the testing is in the controllable costs and orderly manner, whether all kinds of documents can be correct and be completed on time and in accordance with norms.After all above, this article will focus on the important nodes in the management process of application software testing by the third-party agency , and give the author’s actual participation of an third-party agency test examples. Finally, there is a summary of research work, deficiencies in the current work and future prospects.
