Abstract


The product "TD-SCDMA RRM Terminal conformance Test System" guarantees the performance and the quality of TD-SCDMA terminals, greatly promoting the development of the whole industry. The testcases based on TTCN language,designed in the environment of the test system ,can realize and control the combination and run-flow of the whole testcases,which organize and promote the runnig of the main-control software ,protocol softare and PHY softare of the test system. So,implementation and verification of testcases is very important to the system’s R&D.This paper presents a TTCN-based approach to develop and verify TD-SCDMA RRM conformance test cases based on the understand of the test system and related protocols.The testcase module simulates the function of RRC&NAS in the TD-SCDMA protcol stack.The function of RRC/&NAS has a great relation of RRM.In the paper,the main work and creation are included as follows:First of all, the paper realize the 5 functions of RRM defined in the industry standards:Cell re-selection in the idle mode、UTRAN connected mode mobility、RRC re-establishment delay、UE measurements procedures and Measurements performance requirements which involves 29 testcases.Then ,the realization of relay handover based on TTCN language is the creation in the field of TD-SCDMA.At the same time,debug and verification of the 29 testcases in the enviroment of TD-SCDMA RRM confomance test system developed by StarPoint have been finished.And the last, the realization of testcase are independent to the hardware of test system、different manufactures ,the testcases can be developed and applied in different test instruments. Integrated test and verification proves that these test cases can fully meet actual testing as well as certification needs. The development fills up another blank in the field of TD-SCDMA and promotes the progress of the whole TD-SCDMA industry.
