Abstract

Objective: To evaluate changes in patients with cervical and lumbar spine curvature associated curvature change. Methods: 50 cases of cervical disease (patient group) and 50 patients without cervical disease (control group) were neck and lumbar spine lateral X ray examination; and a statistical correlation analysis. Results: The patient group was male cervical curvature change 86.96%, female cervical curvature change rate of 96.30% in the control group change in cervical curvature was male 41.15%, female cervical curvature change rate of 45.83%. Group of male patients with lumbar curvature change rate of 82.61%, female lumbar curvature change rate of 74.07%, lumbar curvature of the male control group was 53.85% change in female lumbar curvature change rate 54.17%. The X2 test and t test showed: group and control group patients in terms of gender and age, no significant difference (P> 0.05). Patients with cervical curvature change in the patients was 88.00%; lumbar curvature change rate of 76.00%, the linear correlation analysis showed a significant linear correlation (Pearson correlation coefficient r = 0.424, P <0.01), cervical curvature of the control group the change rate at 46.00%, lumbar curvature change rate at 24.00%, the linear correlation analysis showed no significant linear correlation (Pearson correlation coefficient r = 0.230, P> 0.05); in this group of nerve root type cervical spondylosis is 21 cases, 17 cases of cervical curvature change in 15 cases of spinal curvature change, t test the two groups there was a significant difference (P <0.01). Conclusion: The cervical spine in patients with cervical curvature and curvature changes in a significant linear correlation; control group, cervical and lumbar curvature curvature no linear correlation between the change; and male and female patients with cervical and lumbar curvature to change the appearance of No significant difference; cervical spondylosis cervical spine curvature changes most of the grade to change the main straight, the change rate at 84.09%%,and mainly in the nerve root type cervical spondylosis.
