Abstract

Waves elements are the most important elements in the marine environment , the most important factors to affect the port and coastal engineering , shipbuilding , marine engineering , marine transportation . In this paper, the statistical analysis and numerical simulation of wave combined , during the wave of statistical analysis in the application of the current international advanced third generation of deep-sea wave model (WAVEWATCH III) wave numerical simulation . To obtain a more precise than conventional wavy statistical methods on the temporal grid long timing element value of the wave field , thereby improving the reliability of the statistical analysis of the wave elements . This article includes a numerical simulation of the wave field and wave elements statistical analysis of the two parts . First , the numerical calculation part to QSCAT / NCEP wind field the drive wind farm digitized chart data as the terrain input using WW3 wave model . Calculate the accuracy of the results from three aspects : the calculated using QSCAT / the NCEP wind field data through the ship measured wind speed data comparison confirmed its high reliability ; underwater terrain data from Shanghai charts Press date charts published by the digitizer into the computer using the Kriging algorithm interpolated to each grid point ; significant wave of waves in the calculation results calculated and ship measured data the correlation coefficient greater than 0.9 . Annual waves of the Pacific Northwest , according to the calculated element values ??, this annual waves characteristic of the waters analysis summarizes the different regions of the wave elements in the Pacific Northwest the law changes with the seasons , and analysis of meteorological factors such as monsoon and so the impact of the wave field . In addition , the post-processing of the numerical simulation in waves and wave analysis established aftertreatment systems integration, data analysis and image output , dynamic image display elements of the distribution of the whole year each time the waves and the eigenvalue size.
