Objective: thyroid peroxidase antibody (TPOAb) generation and autoimmune thyroid disease (AITD) are highly correlated . This study aimed to observe, understand serum thyroglobulin antibody (TGAb), thyroid microsomal antibodies (TMAb), TPOAb in AITD in TPOAb positive population changes and the incidence of AITD and sex , age , TPOAb levels associated with the occurrence of AITD sex . Methods: The hospital from April 2010 to June 2010 between the medical groups 140 cases , according to T3, T4, TSH results into hyperthyroidism group ( 40 cases ) , a low group ( 50 cases ) , normal thyroid function group ( 50 cases ) three groups compared three groups of serum TGAb, TMAb, TPOAb positive rate and antibody levels . Also compared hyperthyroidism, hypothyroidism serum TPOAb positive population by age, sex and incidence ratio . Results: hyperthyroidism group , a low positive rate of TPOAb group ( 77.5% , 98.0% ) was significantly higher than the same group TGAb positive rate ( 32.5% , 50.0% ) and TMAb positive rate ( 57.5% , 76.0% ) ; three kinds the positive rate of thyroid autoantibodies and antibody -positive population were higher than the corresponding control group ; TPOAb positive people male and female ratio of 1:6.27 , hypothyroid group mean age 50.31 years , TPOAb positive population has 76.20% suffer AITD. Conclusion : TPOAb in the diagnosis of AITD is more representative of significance ; gender, age , serum TPOAb levels were generated with AITD have some relevance ; thus AITD diagnosis, treatment and prognosis assessment provides an important basis.
