Abstract

Bendable formula (flexibility) of the organic electroluminescent device due to the light emitting device fabrication on a flexible substrate, to achieve display bendability, become an important development direction of the next generation display technology. In recent years, studies of substrate materials such devices, processing, packaging technology gradually increased, but for the change of the light-emitting properties of the devices after bending, especially in comparison with the light-emitting properties of the flat device little research. Based on the above background, the paper mainly around bendable the emission spectrum of the organic electroluminescent device, a light-receiving rate numerically simulated study using TracePro organic electroluminescent device made using optical simulation software bendable, specifically including the following three aspect: 1. design the structure of the upper mirror / organic light emitting layer / lower mirror / flexible substrate can be bent organic electroluminescent device. Model calculations using optical microcavity devices in different bending case, the emission spectrum with the observation angle and curvature, and the spectrum of the leveling device are compared. The results show that: 1) the substrate is curved inward, as the observation angle increases, the peak position of the emission spectrum of the device a blue shift and blue shift of the device to the relatively flat; curvature increases, the device luminous a blue shift of spectral peak positions; 2) the substrate is bent outward, as the observation angle increases, the emission spectrum peak position of the device redshift, but the degree of redshift; With the curvature increases the device The emission spectrum peak position redshifts, and a considerable degree of blue shift when the substrate is bent inward. Its principle based on the geometrical optics model is derived in a different bending case bendable, the expression of the organic electroluminescent device, a light-receiving rate, the analysis of the device out of the light-receiving rate with the substrate curvature, thickness and the organic layer the refractive index of impact, The organic electroluminescent device of light outgoing and formation compared. The results showed that: 1) when the device is outwardly curved, out of the light-receiving rate is increased as the curvature of the substrate, and the substrate thickness increases, decreases with the increase of the refractive index of the organic layer; 2) when the device is bent inwardly, Idemitsu rate increased with the increase of curvature of the substrate, and the substrate thickness is reduced, and decreases with the increase of the refractive index of the organic layer. For the leveling device, the light-receiving rate with the increase of the refractive index of the organic layer was reduced. Designed structure of the flexible substrate / ITO / organic light emitting layer / metal cathode \illuminance FIG devices in both cases and the luminous intensity distribution. The study found that: when the substrate is bent outward, the luminous flux, illumination, the light emitting device emitted light efficiency than the device in the formation to be larger; also found that the device in the formation and the substrate is bent outward in the two cases, the luminous intensity of the emitted light The situation is not the same with the angle distribution. Of these changes theoretically explained.
