Abstract


In order to meet the trend of large container vessels , the fleet and routes to achieve scale operations , container ship docked in the port trunk routes will be less and less , the election harbor \Same time as the old ship capacity is put into a large number of newly opened secondary transportation routes east-west direction , these new routes ship anchored just extended to the former regional feeder vessels and ports was anchored . How centralized and decentralized parallel in this situation do choose Hong Kong to work on the shipping company 's operating costs and revenue increasing influence . The traditional focus of selection is to choose Hong Kong hub for shipping hub port for accurate optimization can play a dry branch network, open shipping markets , reduce operating costs and save service time and so on. But with the emergence of regional specialization trends , shipping port choice in addition to continue hub strategy , but also should begin to focus on some rapidly growing feeder port , since these ports have a huge potential to become a trunk port or even a regional hub port . While considering the development of a regional hub port , making it a world-class hub with integral combination port area , forming dual-core or multi-core operation system, running on the route there are practical benefits. Through the international trend of large container ships and port development to conduct a brief introduction , analysis of the international container transport system development , proposed hub radiation pattern and regionalization in case of coexistence should consider the development of dual-core operation system , supplemented by the critical port the investment in shares , thus at a lower cost to provide quality customer service stability . In this paper, SWOT qualitative methods, the establishment of Hamburg - Gothenburg dual-core operation system strengths, weaknesses , opportunities and threats for a detailed analysis . While using quantitative methods measure the direct route opened Gothenburg break . After exhaustive research , the final conclusion is : the development of the Port of Gothenburg from branch to trunk port, and then developed into a regional hub port , Hamburg eventually combined into dual-core hub port , shipping companies optimize the Nordic region is an excellent choice route structure .
