Clinical Curative Effect Research on Gubiao Qingre Qufeng Decoction Treating Chronic Urticaria and Its Impact on IL-2、IL-4

Abstract


Objective: To observe the clinical effect of Gubiao Qingre Qufeng Decoction and its effect on IL-2. IL-4.Methods: 60 patients with exterior insufficiency syndrome of chronic urticaria were divided into 2 groups, treatment groups: Gubiao Qingre Qufeng Decoction; control group: Qufeng Zhiyang oral solution. Observe and record variations in symptoms before and after treatment. Measure IL-2 and IL-4 levels by radioimmunoassay means before and after treatment in treatment group and compare with healthy group.Results: The clinical observation showed the efficacy of the treatment group was significantly better than the control group and the recurrence rate was statistically significant(P <0.05). Laboratory tests showed the levels of IL-2 of treatment group were obviously lower than healthy group before treatment, and the difference was significant (P<0.05); the level raise after treatment, compared with that before treatment was statistically significant (P<0.05), but with the normal group, there was no significant difference (P>0.05). Before treatment, IL-4 levels were significantly increased comparing with normal control group, the difference was significant (P<0.05); the levels were reduced after treatment, compared with that before treatment, there was a significant difference (P<0.05), but with the healthy group, no significant difference(P>0.05).Conclusion: Both Gubiao Qingre Qufeng Decoction and Qufeng Zhiyang oral solution treat exterior insufficiency syndrome of chronic urticaria well, but the curative efficacy of the former decoction is much better than the latter and it’s reliable. The mechanism of the former may regulate IL-2, IL-4 levels, relating to meliorating the imbalance states between Th1 and Th2.
