Abstract


Date: 1. Establish multiple stress induced rat model of chronic fatigue. Observed multiple stress caused by chronic fatigue rat hypothalamic - pituitary - testicular (hypothalamus-pituitary-testis in HPT) axis hormones: serum luteinizing hormone (LH), serum follicle stimulating hormone (FSH), serum testosterone (T ), hypothalamic gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) change; intervention role of these indicators and to explore acupuncture. Methods: Multiple stress (swimming shackles bottles stimulate day and night reversed) to establish a rat model of chronic fatigue. Modeling after 28 days, through exhaustive swimming experiment, experiment, open field test M water maze test, sucrose consumption behavioral experiments to determine feasible and scientific modeling multiple stress factors. Then administered daily acupuncture Baihui acupuncture group, Zusanli, Taichong of 21 days, to observe the effect of intervention on chronic fatigue serum LH.FSH, T hypothalamic GnRH content. Results: 1. Multiple stress induced rat model of chronic fatigue weight decreased; significant increase in the number of horizontal movement in the open field test and fecal grains, a significant reduction in the number of vertical movement, the frequency of cleaning; escape latency time was significantly longer in the M water maze experiment; Exhaustive Swimming experiment exhaustive swimming time was significantly shortened; sugar consumption experiments, the sugar significantly lower relative consumption rate and sucrose preference rate. The above results indicate that multiple clinical manifestations of the general state and behavior of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome rats indicators close to human chronic fatigue syndrome patients. After acupuncture treatment, acupuncture group compared with the model group, weight gain; number of horizontal movement, vertical movement, the number and frequency of cleaning significantly increased fecal grains reduced; M water maze escape latency time; Exhausted swim time; sugar consumption rate and sucrose preference rate. Acupuncture has significantly improved the fatigue state of chronic fatigue rats. Multiple Chronic Fatigue Syndrome rats by acupuncture Zusanli and Baihui Taichong after treatment, serum LH levels, serum FSH content and serum levels of T compared with the model group was significantly elevated; elevated hypothalamic GnRH content close normal levels. Acupuncture can regulate and improve chronic fatigue rat HPT axis hormone levels. Conclusions: 1. Multiple stress method to establish the chronic fatigue rat model of CFS patients the clinical features, and experimental studies in animal models can be used as CFS. 2 HPT axis dysfunction caused by hypothalamic GnRH, serum FSH, serum LH and serum T levels decreased, which may be one of the mechanisms of the pathogenesis of CFS. Acupuncture can improve Chronic Fatigue Rats fatigue, adjust the HPT axis function, is an effective way to treat CFS.
