Objective: To observe Spleen Qi Tang ulcer colitis (Ulcerative Colitis, UC) relapse, TCM for the spleen and stomach type of clinical efficacy , and from the two aspects of theoretical and clinical research study Spleen Qi Decoction spleen and stomach type UC relapse mechanisms . Methods: The clinical selection of UC patients met the inclusion criteria , 60 patients were randomly divided into two groups , the treatment group ( 30 cases ) to give Spleen Qi Tang , the control group ( 30 cases ) to give Bupiyichang pill , two groups were 6 weeks for a course of treatment. Clinical efficacy were observed , and the cured patients followed up for 12 months to observe the long-term efficacy . Results : Clinical studies have shown that the treatment group TCM syndromes , colonoscopy efficacy and long-term anti-retroviral treatment were better than the control group (P lt; 0.05 or P lt; 0.01). Could significantly improve the treatment of diarrhea , abdominal pain, bloating, mucus pus and blood , anorexia , fatigue , eat less and other symptoms, its efficacy is superior to the control group (P lt; 0.05 or P lt; 0.01). Two adverse reactions did not occur during treatment . Conclusion: Spleen Qi Tang is resistant to weak stomach type UC relapse valid prescription , and its mechanism may be related to modulation of immune enhancing mucosal barrier function , microcirculation , anti-inflammatory and so on.
