Abstract


The trends of the modern iron and steel enterprises is a large-scale equipment , the production process is continuous , high-speed and automation . Steel product competition focuses on product quality and low price , on-time delivery , and a variety of small quantities of processing power . Abroad, many steel companies such as U.S. Steel Union belongs to the Gary plant , Japan's Nippon Steel and South Korea's Po items in recent years, based on the equipment and process automation , is committed to building an integrated production management system , the rationalization of production management , online , integrated , comprehensive management of the production process , material flow , information flow and energy flow . Manufacturing execution systems (Manufacturing Execution System, MES) is a new type of enterprise production management systems began to appear in the 1980s . It state-of-the-art information technology and network technology , provides advanced information processing platform for to realize agile manufacturing and network manufacturing . Modern iron and steel enterprises MES system -oriented the workshop level job sector advanced production management system , quality control system is the core part .
