Abstract


With the social development and technological advances, the digital transmission of cable television programs is getting into the family of ordinary users. Countries in the world have raised the translation of analog TV to digital TV overall timetable. The Chinese government also made it clear to the overall shift of the 2015 digital TV. In this paper, cable digital TV front-end to meet the local city situation. A typical digital cable TV head-end should contain: multiplexing and transmission system of the program source and the programs; an electronic program guide (EPG); four parts of the subscriber management system (SMS) of the conditional access system (Conditional Access); MEPG-2 audio and video encoding technology, which is the core of the digital TV technology. DVB real-time encoder is responsible for digital capture and MPEG-2 compression encoding of analog audio and video signal source. DVB multiplex divided multiplexing and system level program level multiplexed with two levels, the program level multiplexed SPTS stream flowing from the PES to the multiplexing means, and system-level multiplexing is a multi-program transport stream from the SPTS flows (MSTS ) reuse. Electronic program guide broadcast system provides a perfect platform for the EPG applications, responsible for digital television uniform distribution of network resources and synergies, the completion of the digital television PSI / SI standard table the private descriptor, a variety of application data generated and broadcast. Generally speaking, a dedicated server, the SI (SI Server) to complete this part of the work, and to generate the SI data and program data stream system-level reuse, then TS stream transmission. The conditional access system is able to achieve the authorization of the digital television broadcasting business management and receiver control. The system is an integrated system, involving a variety of technologies, including system management technology, network technology, plus descrambling technology, encryption technology, digital codec technology, digital multiplexing, receiver technology, smart card technology also involves to user management, program management, charging management, information management application technology. Digital TV conditional access system and user management system is inseparable indispensable by these two systems, digital TV operators to be able to precisely authorized user control and management, user management system can be said is the conditional access system component. In the CAS, the authorization issued to the CA by SMS instruction generation and transmission of information authorized by the CA to complete. SMS to user control through CA, and packaged in accordance with the different combinations of programs generate different products issued by SMS instruction by CA. SMS is actually an operations management software platform, it provides a complete, effective management and support. It combines user management fees, accounting, customer service, statistical analysis, decision support, and customer relationship management, and other functions into one, pay-TV services, and other value-added services indispensable tool for the operators to carry out. This paper first introduces the electronic program guide (EPG), Principles and Applications of the Conditional Access System (CAS), as well as conditional access and subscriber management system (SMS) integration, radio and television in the fifth chapter focuses on the elaborate system in Zhangqiu Bureau of applications.
