Abstract


Modern design for the mankind to create the modern life, environment and lifestyle while also accelerated the consumption of energy, resources, and ecological balance of the planet caused enormous destruction. Experience of industrial change and economic development, we started to reflection: our actions are affecting the environment in which we live?: can our society sustainable development? doubts raised also allows us to start thinking of how man and nature live in harmony. "TianRen unity" thinking emphasizes harmony between man and nature, stressing the sustainable development of human civilization, from the harmony of human and natural environment point of view of art and design, promote harmony of thought and design concept of sustainable development have a major impact on modern art design design concepts and ideas for future development of the design will have a more profound significance and impact. Article mainly consists of three parts on "TianRen unity" and explained the design concept of sustainable development. One of the first part of this article, the second chapter, through the Chinese traditional culture in "TianRen unity" interpretation of the basic concept, identify ecological philosophy that it contains, to address today’s world because of industrialization and unrestricted conquer nature resulting from natural ecological balance damaged by pollution, and other issues, achieve enlightenment of sustainable development is of great significance. And identified a number of "harmony" thoughts of a misreading of the phenomenon and the analysis and interpretation, concluded "TianRen unity" has its inherent meaning, and at the same time we should also be used for the development of perspective to the proposition that, today we have as our guiding principles for the sustainable development of mankind. Chapter III of the second part of this article, comprehensive analysis of the "harmony" thought in the infiltration of Chinese social life and art, were made to the traditional view of design analysis, concluded that the traditional thought of some of the design include: System view, pragmatism, decorative and functional relations, symbolic, and as teacher, comply with the nature of nature, respect for nature. Part III is the fourth chapter of this article, penetration through the chapter on social life in China and analysis of TianRen unity in the art of articulating "harmony" thought the core purpose and core of the concept of the sustainable development goals coincide, so that, as all changes of environmental factors and human sustainable development principles. In General, today on the sustainable development of "TianRen unity" to guide our design with a very important practical and philosophical significance. Hope this article can initiate more designers to our traditional culture into our design and creation, then we can fine cultural heritage of creating new value addition can carry forward China’s traditional culture; of course integrated into the design of our traditional culture design is unique to China, is a national connotation of the " Chinese creation ".
