Abstract


Porous asphalt pavement is a kind of open graded friction course,it has good performance on draining, anti-slide and noise reducing etc.Development and employment of porous asphalt pavement were introduced in this paper.Guidance for the selection of materials used in porous asphalt mixture such as aggregates and binders is expounded, and high viscosity modified asphalt used in OGFC was made with SBS,SBR and PE.Based on the analysis of the aggregate gradation ,the design method of porous asphalt mixture is studied,the optimum aggregate grading and the design method of porous asphalt mixture are presented.The test result show that OGFC has superior pavement performance.According to the unique clime in the xia’men such as high temperature,strong sunlight,this paper study the heat durability of the porous asphalt pavement.The test road was paved in xia’men sugan road viaduct,and the construction method of porous asphalt mix was researched.
