In Fujian unique geographical environment of "near mountains and the sea", ethnic minorities - She lived together with the local Han on the land of Fujian with the distribution pattern of "big scattered, small communities". Within the long-term close contact with each other and exchange process, the two nation’s traditional costumes showed the characteristics of each other. Traditional national dress is an important part of national culture, its generation, development experienced a few thousand years. In the long history, costumes were interdependent and interrelated with the style of mutual exchanging, mutual promoting. The splendid traditional culture of the Chinese nation, is co-created by all nationalities in China.In this paper, based on field-research, with the traditional women’s clothing as the starting point, the Han, She women’s clothing and apparel products were discussed and analyzed in-depth. Through measuring the size of specific kind of clothing, focusing on shapes, the structure craft, decorative patterns and colors, the Han, She women’s clothing and apparel products were compared, and the blend and differences between national women’s clothing of Han and She were summarized. Similarities and differences between two nation’s traditional costumes were summarized: the two national women’s clothing exhibited colorful splendor in art features and connotation in culture; meanwhile, owing to the long-term interaction influence of two national culture, mainly influence from the advanced culture of the Han to ethnic minorities She, the blend in structure, process, patterns and colors in produced were brought about on some extent. Combined with the information and material obtained from Archives, the public complaints bureau, traditional clothing producers etc, the reasons of the blend of costumes of Han and She and differences were discussed in three aspects, substance, community and spirit respectively.This paper aims to reveal that Han, She clothing in Fujian formed and developed in the close contact and interaction of Han and She, with a close symbiotic relationship. On some extent, the research work in this paper may show some theoretical significance and potential applications in opening up the ways and ideas of developing national dress, and more in the further protection, inheriting and studies of folk costumes of Fujian.
