Abstract


Confucianism and antagonistic were contending during the spring and autumn period. However, hundreds of different parties offered their comments on the social development. In order to maintain the central unity and self-manner, Emperor Wu in the Han Dynasty carried out a policy of proscribing all non-Confucian schools of thought and espousing Confucianism as the orthodox state ideology." MOZI" Research became silent. However, rooted in traditional Chinese culture, based on the thinking of endorsement for the small farmers, "MOZI" did not break in this study. "MOZI" is always the object of Chinese classical literature study. The doctrine has influence on the classical literature and criticism through out the history. Any one of literary history and literary theory are inseparable from the history of "MOZI", there is no complete critical history without "MOZI", and historical "Mozi" research had always been developing, it is necessary to study "Mozi" carding and comprehensive argument. Although the language of "MOZI" is not very beautiful, but the style is diversiform, its article doesn’t lack charm either. For thousands of years, there has been much research on "Mozi". Even so, "MOZI" context of the study can still be tracked.According to the interpretation of history of ideas, the production of any theory is to adapt to the needs of the times. Therefore there is always an external source charring a theoretical background of the emergence, change and development. In addition, any thinker’s idea of that era is often constrained by the level of knowledge and ideas of the general condition. The background, experience of the thinker also has a close relationship to his ideas. Starting with the main characteristics of "MOZI" social background, embedded in the history of ideas, this article classifies, concludes, and summarize the various data of "Mozi" research through out the history. The "MOZI" research can be roughly summarized into three aspects,“Yuanmozhuru”,“Xunjingqiuyi”and“Fahuijingyi”, and pointed out characteristics, achievements and shortcomings of each "MOZI" study method, aiming to gain an entry point into a kind of "MOZI" research and new understanding of the new summary based on the conversion of views on“Mozi”research.
