Abstract


The map geography \In fact, in addition to the external , physical map , in the minds of everyone has a \The so-called cognitive map refers to a geographical orientation and surface characteristics after the formation of a virtual mind map network , a variety of natural and human geography information storage and memory . The past map teaching and research are generally concentrated in the physical map reading and training , for the human mind in the cognitive map and there is not much involved . Firstly, in theory, to explore the cognitive map structure stored in the brain structure and formation mechanisms , and then summing up the practical achievements of Chinese and foreign counterparts and to reflect on their own based on seven years of teaching experience , proposed building a cognitive map strategy and cognitive map , with a variety of activities and means of strengthening and training . This paper is divided into four parts . The first chapter is the theoretical basis of this article , the first to explore the development of the different eras cognitive map concept and abroad on cognitive map in the mental representation of the elements , impact factors , stage of development , and other aspects of the study , the last in the domestic counterparts in the field of geography teaching cognitive map . In the second chapter , the author in accordance with the general principles of measurement of cognitive map , the preparation of a cognitive map measuring volume , and then conducted a sample survey of our ninth-grade students . The results show that the student brain cognitive map is incomplete , inaccurate, not systems . The third chapter is the focus of this article to discuss how to build and develop the students' cognitive map in the day-to-day teaching of geography . In this chapter , the author in accordance with the scale paper maps and real-life environment were discussed and put forward a number of strategies to form a cognitive map of the minds of the students , how to make maps and ambient , and finally discussed the application of modern technology, build cognitive maps . The fourth chapter discusses the intensive training, how immature cognitive map cognitive the map truly become an important skill for students , including regional contrast training variant map training , mind mapping training , drawing training .
