Abstract


Since the 1990s , the countries of the world regarded as an important educational indicators to foster students' ability to learn the theoretical and applied research on autonomous learning of unprecedented prosperity . In the country , the basic education curriculum reform has made it clear to guide students to independent learning, cooperative learning, inquiry learning as an important task to change the way students learn . China has long been one-sided pursuit of high school enrollment rate , independent learning ability has been neglected , the overall development level is not high , the development of all aspects of self- learning ability is not balanced . Therefore , to foster students' ability to learn is a very important task . In this paper, the literature review , survey and analysis , experimental contrast , a high school student in Zhejiang Province as the research object , Situation and Training of school self - learning ability of high school students in English extracurricular research and discussion . Through the investigation found that the school high school students generally do not form a good extracurricular self - study habits , self- learning ability is generally low . By the students of the experimental class extracurricular self- guided learning strategies to improve their academic performance , and the ability to improve their own learning . The experimental time for one academic year . Experimental results show that : own extracurricular learning strategies on high school students guidance and help to improve the students' interest and confidence in learning to improve their English academic .
