Abstract


Conic plane analytic geometry of the core content of the secondary school. The new curriculum reform, the conic teaching time shortened (from 40 hours becomes about 20 hours), an increase in the teaching content (expand and application of information technology), new curriculum requirements conic, the difficulty of teaching emphasis has to change. Teaching practice, I found that the students in learning the conic feel the knowledge points more easily confused similar definitions, equations, geometry, nature, learning the forgotten faster, thus significantly more difficult compared with other chapters. This paper attempts to make a more comprehensive survey of the students' understanding of conic, in order to be able to take advantage of the study found that improvement conic classroom teaching. In this study, four research questions: 1. High school students on the level of understanding of the concept of conic how? 2 high school students on the level of understanding of the unity of conic how? 3 high school students the ability to solve the practical problems associated with the conic how? 4. grade on high school students about the level of understanding of the conic difference? outline of this study under the new curriculum and examination requirements of conic hierarchical level division, and well-prepared on the basis of five copies of the test volume, select a key middle school in Anhui Province, second year, third year a total of 10 classes of 426 students were tested. The main conclusions of the study are: 1. Understanding of the high school students on the conic defined: \Understanding in descending order conic equation is parabola ellipse hyperbolic. High school students involved in the problem of two conic equation in easy to confuse \The nature of the high school students be able to direct the use of the geometric properties of the conic solve the mathematical problem of shallow (A level, B level), but you can not make use of the conic geometry to solve mathematical problems of deep-level (C level). Students conic unified understanding of the generated depends on it set the background, students' understanding of unified equation is easy to ignore the restrictions, some students do not know the uniform definition of conic. 3 students of mathematics weak capacity. High School and Middle School two grade level difference on the understanding of the concept of the conic is relatively large, and three to be significantly better than sophomore, not in conic unity of understanding and conic level gap.
