Abstract


The function of knowledge is the core content of the middle school mathematics throughout mathematics learning always . To effectively strengthen the teaching and research function knowledge . Function application title is an important part of the function of knowledge , is the emphasis and difficulty in the function of teaching , a thorough understanding of the function concept is the basis for solving the relevant function application problems ; function application questions function concept in practical problems , by solving the function application questions , allows students to experience the practical problems - a mathematical model - the answer - the solution of practical problems in mathematics problem-solving mode , deepen the understanding of the function concept , to obtain a more systematic knowledge function . This study focuses on the following issues : a survey of students of the first year of secondary normal schools (equivalent to high ) interest in learning function application questions , attitude and self-confidence ; learning function application questions the status quo and feel for further Research for bedding. 2, a major obstacle to research students in solving a class of function application questions . 3, to give the corresponding teaching suggestions . This study in the form of questionnaires , tests , interviews , conducted in-depth and detailed research and analysis . The study showed that : 1 , students obstacle to solving a linear function word problems from reading comprehension and processing operations , especially processing operation error followed is not reasonable set of mathematical concepts related terms are not familiar with , do not understand . Solving a quadratic function of the barriers to application questions mainly from translation and processing operations , mainly to confuse the question of the number of students , a mathematical model error , not through the most value function of the image and the monotony of discussion . 3 , the application questions obstacles solving piecewise function mainly from reading comprehension and processing operations , some students are not written in the form of a piecewise function is difficult because the understanding of the constant function , some students understand the meaning of the questions inaccurate . Solving the the rounding function application questions obstacles from translation and processing operations , the students flexible application poor , poor analysis of problem-solving skills . Finally, these obstacles teaching suggestions , some continue to study the issue .
